About/FAQs
About Hal Oral – Hal Oral loves comedy. He wants to make an awkward looking baby with it. Hal is a comedy writer located out of Brooklyn, NY. After writing screenplays for his friends enjoyment he realized that he found what he loves to do, writing. When Hal isn’t writing, doing stand-up comedy or pretending that he knows what he is talking about, he enjoys going out for a cold beer, reading up on science/technology and deciding if the ideas inside his head are actually funny, or just another thought he should keep locked up.

About Website – Another comedy blog? Not exactly. I’ve been writing a book entitled “The Hal Oral Chronicles”, and I wanted a place to post each chapter as they are completed. Sure there will be posts and articles I’ve written/going to write on random topics, but in between all of the nonsense there will be the book(marked as THOC Chapter Y). So sit back, enjoy the random weird thoughts, the comedy songs, the stand-up videos as well as comedy videos as they are posted and then archived in the vast caverns of the internet.
Below are some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) which should help you better understand Hal and the blog.
FAQ: Is your name really Hal Oral?
A: Yes, it is actually Hal Oral
FAQ: Why?
A: My father’s last name is Oral, and beyond my own control I inheritted his name.
FAQ: Really?
A: We are all dentists.
FAQ: No your not.
A: It’s you’re not your, but anyway, the real reason why our last name is Oral is that on my fathers side my ancestors originated from Spain and were the Oról’s. When they arrived on Ellis island, they announced themselves and the immigration officers were like “Ehh, your name doesn’t sound blowjobby enough.”
FAQ: Is the narrarator in the stories you?
A: I would say that the narrarator is usually, usually, again usually based on me but is not me. Same with the narrarators’ friends are based on my friends, but not them in any way. I’d probably classify it as autobiographical fiction. I am the person writing the book, but the person telling the stories are telling them in first person, but I’m not telling the stories, the narrator is. Is the narrator based on me? Sure, but it is a character, not me. Some of the things in the book are based off true events, but again, it’s all fiction. I think I just said the same thing 6 times in the same paragraph but just worded it differently each time.
